Motorcycles, yes, you are welcome here! Stay alert as our driveway is gravel, but we have some of the BEST scenic routes in the state! Keep an eye on various motorcycle poker runs on the "events" pages on Facebook too
Considered the first rail-to-trail in the world, the Elroy Sparta Bike Trail remains one of the most beloved trails in the country. Through maps, text, images and audio, please enjoy this tour of the Elroy-Sparta State Trail, the “granddaddy of them all”.
Located on a ridge rising steeply above the Kickapoo River, Wildcat Mountain State Park offers camping for families, groups and horseback riders. Twenty-one miles of scenic hiking, nature and equestrian trails meander through the park. An observation point and picnic areas overlook the Kickapoo Valley. The Kickapoo River is popular for paddling and rentals are available in the village of Ontario.

Wineries, vineyards, and breweries in La Crosse add to the attraction of the area. Wisconsin might not be known for its wine, but several local vineyards now specialize in producing unique vintages made from locally-grown fruit, including hardy varieties of grape developed at the University of Minnesota especially for cold-climate wine production. There are also excellent variations on mixed fruit wines, featuring cranberry, cherry, and strawberry blends.
